It’s that time of the year again when the smell of paper is wafting in the air and the smiles of the people radiant with glee and excitement visible in the twinkle in their eyes.

The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is back on its 34th year with a bigger and grander collection of all kinds of books starting from literary, references, textbooks, graphic novels and children’s books from the publishing companies all over the Philippines.
MIBF gathered publishing companies, bookstores, distributors and exhibitors from all over the country to bring forth another opportunity not only for the book lovers to gather but also for the teachers, schools and parents who can buy bulk materials for their students and children at a very low price. Workshops and seminars are also held for informing the people of what is new in the reading industry right now and how people can encourage others to pick up reading as a hobby.

The books come at a cheaper price, the discounts ranging from 20% up to 80% off. Books for Medical, Law, Accounting and other specialized fields can be bought at a lower rate and literary books can be found all over the place satisfying the book lovers’ thirst for good books that can be availed at a very low price favoring the students that come in the event.

There were also books that you can never, if not-- rarely see in bookstores anymore that can exude a gleeful squeal from collectors such as Filipino literary works and historical and biographical accounts.

The event organized by Primetrade Asia, Inc. will run from September 11 until September 15 in SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines. It will be opened from 10 am to 8 pm.
