July 12, Friday – The Philippine Daily Inquirer exposes the P10-Billion pork barrel scam, and whistleblower Benhur Luy identifies Janet Lim Napoles as the proprietor of the swindle along with five senators and 23 congressmen. It fearlessly reported the use of Napoles’ fake NGOs as sources of her wealth. She is also identified as a mother of all scams. 
 
July 15, Monday - Justice Secretary Leila de Lima issues an immigration lookout bulletin on Janet Lim Napoles and her brother Reynald Lim to survey their international travels. NBI starts its probe to gather more evidence because due to the gravity of the case involving a very huge amount of money.

July 16, Tuesday - Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales tasks a set of investigators to conduct an investigation with the NBI to the ghost projects funded by the pork barrel, including the Malampaya Gas Project in Palawan. About P900 million was fraud by a bogus non-government organization allegedly headed by Napoles. 
 
July 17, Wednesday – Napoles’ lawyer states in a press conference that she denies her involvement in the misuse of the pork barrel. She also accuses Benhur Luy as a habitual drug user. 

July 18, Thursday – Benhur Luy is placed under the government’s Witness Protection Program. Benhur Luy was a former employee of Napoles who exposed the allegedly ten billion pork barrel scam done by Napoles.

July 25, Thursday – Photos released by Rappler show Janet Lim Napoles along with Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla and their families in a party.

July 26, Friday - The blog of the daughter of Janet Lim Napoles, Jeane Napoles, exposes the extravagant lifestyle of the family, which includes a video of her extravagant 21st birthday party in Berverly Hills, CA. 

July 31, Wednesday – An investigation done by Rappler shows that Jean Napoles is an owner of a P80-million luxury apartment in Los Angeles, CA. 

August 1, Thursday - Rappler receives a letter from the Napoles camp threatening to sue the company for the “inaccurate, reckless and unfair articles” on Jean Napoles' lifestyle. Napoles also sues its star reporter Natashya Gutierrez for exposing Jean Napoles’ luxury condominium in Los Angeles.

August 5, Monday - The Senate’s majority decision is not to conduct an investigation into the multi-billion pork barrel scam for the time being. Teofisto Guingona III of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee has decided to consult all the senators instead. The minority block of The House of Representatives files a resolution to probe into the alleged misuse of pork barrel funds, under minority leader Rolando Zamora.

August 7, Wednesday – Rappler reveals how Janet Napoles learned the tricks of the trade in the military by cutting a P3.8- million deal on Kevlar helmets that was later declared anomalous by the Sandiganbayan. Meanwhile Napoles also sues the Philippine Daily Inquirer reporters for not trying to get her side.
 
August 8, Thursday - Jo-Christine, the eldest daughter of Janet Lim Napoles, withdraws her nomination as the second representative for the OFW Family party list.

August 8, Thursday – Rappler reveals that the Napoles family owns three other properties in California with a total of US$9.5 million or P415.1 million.BIR later issued a statement that the properties reported were not under her name.

August 13, Friday - Former Marine Colonel Ariel Querubin comes forward to Rappler and reveals a pyramid scam by Napoles that caused his wife's depression.




August 14, Wednesday – Makati Court issues a warrant of arrest for Napoles and her brother, Reynald ‘Jojo’ Lim for illegally detaining Benhur Luy.  NBI also orders the freezing of her bank accounts for further investigation.

August 15, Thursday –12 hours into the issuance of the arrest warrants for the siblings, they are still nowhere to be found. Napoles’ lawyer, Lorna Kapunan said it was a decision of Napoles to go into hiding and defends her by saying it was a natural thing to do.
 
August 26, Monday - Netizens and other Filipinos around the country gather at Luneta in Manila for the Million People March which aims to abolish the pork barrel. It proved to be successful in encouraging President Aquino to order a search for the missing Napoles siblings.

August 28, Wednesday
 
Morning - President Aquino announces a P10-million reward to anyone who knows any information that would lead the investigators to Napoles and his brother, Jojo.
 
At 12:37 PM- Edwin Lacierda, Presidential Spokesperson, calls Lorna Kapunan, lawyer of Napoles, about her client’s plan to surrender. However, Kapunan says that Napoles will only surrender to the President.


At 4:06 PM- Kapunan phones back Lacierda saying that her client is willing to surrender to the President to ensure her (Napoles) safety. 


At 6:50 PM- Lacierda goes to Pasong Tamo, Makati City to meet Kapunan. DILG Secretary Mar Roxas provides escorts for the safety of Napoles. However, the lawyer calls again asking the spokesperson to meet her in the White Palace.

At 8:06 PM- Lacierda and his group arrive at the Heritage Park as Jimmy Napoles, husband of Janet, instructed them.

At 9:08 PM- Napoles and a female companion arrive at the Heritage Park.

At 9:37 PM- Lacierda and his men arrive in Malacañang with the fugitive Janet Napoles to meet the President. The meeting took only 10 minutes.   

August 29, Thursday – Judge Elmo Alameda of Makati Regional Trial Court issued a commitment order to have Napoles put under the custody of the Makati City Jail.

Aug. 30, Friday – Makati Trial Court orders the transfer of Napoles from Camp Crame to Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna because of safety purposes asked by Napoles. 

Sept. 1, Sunday – Napoles was transferred to the 82.4-square-meter facility in Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna. The detention facility is equipped with CCTV cameras and bars to ensure the brains of the alleged P10-B pork barrel scam.


Sept. 2, Monday – Napoles will stay in Fort Sto. Domingo while the case continues. Meanwhile, she asks for the resolution of her petitions, while she is put under investigation for illegal detention of Luy.

At 3 a.m. - Napoles experiences anxiety attacks because of the sudden drop of her sugar level and an increase in her blood pressure.

At 8:05 p.m. - A Commission on Audit report mentions the names of Senators Loren Legarda and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who are also allegedly involved in the pork barrel scam. The report deals with the project of the senators in Dinalupihan and Pilar, Bataan.

Sept. 3, Tuesday- Philippine National Police updates that Napoles suffers from headache and loses sensations on her face caused by a sudden increase in her blood pressure, 200/130.
